Volumen Fleece
Freudenberg H 630 is a lightweight fusible interfacing that is virtually indispensable for quilting, patchwork and warm, yet lightweight, garments. The batting provides a light stand and some volume, allowing you to enhance your projects and give them a quality look. It also makes topstitching look better.
My tip: Try on a scrap piece of fabric first to see if you are happy with the feel and volume before fusing your desired pieces.
This is how it works:
Place the interfacing with the coated side (you'll feel little bumps there) on the wrong side of the outer fabric. Cover with a damp ironing cloth and press the iron on step by step for about 15 seconds, do not push.
Iron setting: wool/cotton.
After fusing, let the pieces cool for about 30 minutes lying flat to allow the adhesion to stabilise.
